András Benkő (as member of the Old-Csürrentő) won the Folk Music Competition of the Danube Television in Music Group Categorie.
The old Csürrentő Band played on 20th National Táncház (Dance House) Festival. The members of the Band were in 2000: Katalin Klopp, András Benkő, Tamás Novinszki, Szilárd Horváth and Bálint Kárpáthegyi.
